Hoang Mai Cement which is a stated-owed company directly under the Vietnam National Cement Corporation, located in Hoang Mai town, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province, was founded on October 7, 1995.
Hoang Mai Cement nowadays is original from Nghe An Cement Company which was found under license signed by Prime Minister about approval of invest in Hoang Mai Cement factory project in Nghe An with output by 4000 tan clinker/ day (equivalent 1,4 million tons/ year)
Hoang Mai Cement is the first company of Vietnam Cement Corporation which applies product sale model from official distributors. We has made use of society’s capacity and balanced the benefits of producer and distributors. We now have 33 official distributors throughout country, included 3 project distributors.
Hoang Mai Cement supplied cement for construction works for all levels of society and big projects such as Vinh Tuy bridge (Ha Noi), Ban Ve hydroelectricity, Huong Son hydroelectricity (Ha Tinh), National Conference Center (Ha Noi), Cua Dat irrigation – hydroelectricity project (Thanh Hoa), Ho Ho hydroelectricity (Quang Binh), Buon Koup hydroelectricity (Dac Lac), etc.
Hoang Mai Cement has gained many awards. In August 2004, Hoang Mai Cement Company was received ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 Certificate by Standard Suitability Certifying Center belongs to Directorate for Standards and Quality. Company's products won many gold medals at fairs, exhibitions which were organized in Hanoi, Vinh city, Nhatrang, Ho Chi Minh City, Gold Star Award in 2004, Vietnam Quality Award in 2004, Vietnam High Quality Product Award elected by customers in 2005, Gold Award of quality in 2005 and Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit.
Along with it’s consistently efforts over the years, Hoang Mai Cement was awarded Emulation Flags by Nghe An province, Construction Department, Vietnam Cement Corporation. On December 21, 2005, Prime Minister signed the 993/QĐ decision to award Hoang Mai Cement certificate for many achievements it had gained on business as well as its contributions in socialist country construction and protection cause.
