Sinoma Int. (Tianjin) was awarded the EP contract for a new 2000 tpd cement plant project in Bolivia.
Sinoma Int. (Tianjin) has signed a formal EP contract with Votorantim subsidiary Itacamba Cemento S.A. for a 2000 tpd cement project in Bolivia. Having originally received a letter of intent in 2012, the project is now set for completion within 2 years.
The cement company is opting largely for Chinese cement technology and equipment. The contract covers raw material crushing to cement storage and Sinoma’s responsibilities include engineering design, mechanical equipment supply, transportation on a DAP basis, and onsite services.
This marks the second cooperation between Sinoma and Votorantim after the 4000 tpd US SCC project. With this project, Sinoma hopes to extend its presence in the local market.
